Open a Tearoom for Profit was a natural outgrowth of the sisters' desire to inspire and educate others interested in opening their own businesses related to tea. Held four times a year, the conference features a special tour of the Magnolia & Ivy tearooms with special themed teas served at each location.

The only hands-on tea conference of its kind, participants will get a behind the scenes look at running their own tearoom. The conference also presents top speakers, tea tasting, resources, and tea related  seminars.

The seminars are held at the
Magnolia & Ivy Tea & Education Center in Richland, Georgia. Opened in March 2000, this 3000 square foot facility located in Richland, Georgia, is dedicated to the education in the “art of tea.” The center provides complete conference facilities for tea tasting, tea industry education, and training in the sale and service of fine loose leaf teas.
