Green Tea May Help Prevent Parkinson’s Disease

It is a fact of life that everyone goes through ageing. Unfortunately, as we age, certain parts of our bodies essential for living well start to degenerate as well, and as a result we have diseases such as Parkinson’s disease.

How Parkinson’s Sets In

As the dopamine neurons located the substantial Ingra inside the brain starts to degenerate as we grow older, Parkinson’s disease sets in. They specifically found out that Chinese Oolong tea helps prevent brain diseases through a substance called polyphenol. Polyphenols act as chelators that block all the bad metallic ions and harmful free radicals inside the human body. Polyphenols also assist in neuron transportation within our brain.

The study made by scientists show that the Chinese Oolong tea is beneficial to a person’s overall health and well-being, and how the Polyphenols found specifically in the Chinese Oolong tea can help slow down the degenerative processes of the body, and specifically they delay degeneration of the Dopamine neurons, thus delaying the onset of Parkinson’s disease. Scientists still don’t have a cure for Parkinson’s, but at least they have a way of delaying it’s onset.
